How does it work?
Guide: The YouTube Comment Manager
Welcome to the YouTube Comment Manager! This tool helps you to easily and effectively search, filter, and analyze the comment section of YouTube videos. Quickly find the comments that are most relevant to you.
How it Works: A Step-by-Step Guide
- Paste YouTube URL: Copy the URL of the desired YouTube video into the designated text field.
- Select Main Filter: Choose one of the main filters by clicking the corresponding tab (e.g., "Top liked Comments").
- Set Options: Depending on the selected filter, provide additional details such as the number of comments or a search term.
- Apply Additional Filter (Optional): Select an option from the dropdown menu to further refine your results.
- Submit: Click "Submit" to load the filtered comments.
Explanation of the Main Filters
Each tab offers a different method for searching through the comments:
- Top liked Comments: Finds the comments with the most "likes". You can optionally specify how many of the top comments you want to see (e.g., the Top 10).
- Random Comments: Displays a random selection of comments from the entire video.
- Comments by User: Searches for all comments written by a specific user in this video. Please provide the username for this.
- Comments by Likes: Finds all comments that have an exact number of "likes".
- Comments by Keyword: Searches all comments for a specific word or phrase.
- Roll the Dice: A small extra feature that lets you roll a die.
Explanation of Additional Filters (Dropdown Menu)
In most tabs, you can further refine your search with these options:
- No Suggestions: This is an exclusion filter. It removes all comments from the results that contain all five digits (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) simultaneously in the plain text. A comment containing only some of these digits will not be removed.
- Only Suggestions: This is a special filter that searches for comments containing all digits from 1 to 5 in the text. Digits that only appear within links are ignored during the search.
-
One Suggestion per User: Applies the "Only Suggestions" filter, but additionally ensures that each user appears with a maximum of one comment in the results.
- In the "Top liked Comments" and "Comments by User" tab, the user's comment with the most likes is selected.
- Note: If a user has multiple comments that meet the criteria and share the same (highest) number of likes, the tool will select the comment that appeared first in the original list provided by YouTube.
- In the "Random Comments" tab, a random comment from the user is selected.
Your Results
After submitting, you will receive a clear display of the found comments. Each comment card shows the author, the comment text, the number of likes, and a "Source" link that takes you directly to the original comment on YouTube.
